What A Doozy...

If you were here last week...YES, we once again had to postpone our Felt Flower Workshop due to the snow.   That makes three times.   We've moved it clear out to March 10 & 12 this time so we're hoping we'll be free from the snow for sure by then.  Our March 10th workshop is now full but we have wide open seating available for Saturday March 12th.  We'd love it if you would join us! 

It would probably come as no big shock that February was a disappointing month for small business owners, particularly those of us in retail.   All together Plume was closed for 4 days.  4 days with pretty much zero sales combined with very sluggish sales on the the days immediately before each "snow day" due to the community preparing for snow, and then it seemed to take several days to rebound after we re-opened while people were recovering from the snow. 

But I've been listening to the news about Ukraine, and you know what...I'm just fine.

My shop hasn't been bombed. 

I'm going to sleep in my safe, warm bed tonight.

I'm not fleeing while clinging to my babies, separated, possibly forever from my husband who stays behind to fight.   

I'm not a 20 year old student in a makeshift basement bomb factory making molotov cocktails with my student peers. 

What is happening? 

Lord, we know you see all of this. We pray for you to intervene like only you can.  

It's heavy.  

It's hard to know how to help, what to do.  

I just keep moving until things become more clear.
