Thanksgiving...
My goodness it seems like just yesterday was Halloween and Birthdays and we were gearing up for Open House, the kids are back home from school and now it's almost Thanksgiving!
Like everyone else, we're struggling with our plans and knowing what's the right thing to do. We really want to see our family. It's our year to spend Thanksgiving with Jeremy's family and Christmas with mine. (We alternate holidays each year). Up until last week we had planned to head down to Anderson for a small Thanksgiving with Jeremy's brother's family and his parents (there would only be 11 of us total, 6 adults and 5 kids) but a couple of COVID scares (false alarm in our house, we're all fine) has really made us uncertain.
We're praying but it looks like we might be staying in Columbia.
I'm not a pie maker. I leave that artistry to our moms. But I AM a cupcake baker. And in my house we need all kinds of desserts for our Thanksgiving Feast, not just pies. So we'll for sure be adding a few cupcakes to our menu wherever we end up this year.

While we don't have any doorbusters or specials, we promise to provide a fun start to your holiday shopping season with locally made and meaningful handmade gifts. For the sake of safety, We decided that it might be best to allow the Small Biz Saturday traffic to spread out over 2 days instead of just one. And for that same reason we've also made the decision to be open on Mondays in December.
Leave it to COVID to make you do things you never thought you'd do.
