People keep asking….“How are your new hours going?”

 

(In case you’re new here, I opened the shop in 2013 with Thursday – Saturday open hours, and we just recently in September became a Tuesday – Saturday shop).

THINGS ARE GOING GREAT!

People ARE actually coming and shopping 5 DAYS A WEEK.  More people than ever before.  It’s been so exciting and fun!  We’re getting to see people who previously couldn’t come as often and we’re getting to meet so many new customers.    We’re selling more cupcakes & popcorn every day that we’re open and we’re wrapping up more gifts.   So we think it’s been a Win/Win all around!  No more people pulling out of the parking lot disappointed.  (Although that did actually happen Monday while I was at the shop unloading all my Bake Shoppe ingredients for the week…but I just can’t go there folks.)

All this growth + all the fun events we have coming up + something called Christmas…means we could use a few more hands around Plume.  I specifically need someone from 3:30 – 6:30 Tuesday – Thursday, and every other Saturday 12:30-4:30.    This is a GREAT SHIFT for a college student, or even a high school student who has AUT last period and can leave early for the day to arrive by 3:30.    If you know someone, please send them my way.  They can email their resume to me at Kelly@somethingplume.com

Speaking of fun events…In just over 2 weeks we’re Turning 6!!   I can’t believe it!   My friend Katie from Doodle Station designed this awesome Anniversary Edition Logo for me.  She’s so sweet.   (She also dropped off her 2020 Columbia Desk Calendars and they did not disappoint!)

If that sounds right up your alley, please hop over to our Facebook Event and mark “GOING” so we can bake as many cupcakes as possible to accommodate the demand.  Last year, we sold out by lunchtime.  (And we made A LOT of cupcakes)  So we’re upping our game and shooting to bake double the amount this year.   To make sure as many people as possible can benefit from this special we’ll be limiting (1) $6 6-Pack per walk-in customer.  You will be welcome to purchase additional cupcakes at regular prices.   If you have other cupcakes needs for the day you may place orders like normal, but we won’t be accepting orders for the special offer.   First come, first serve, no holds.   Thanks for understanding!

 

If you are looking for some last minute fun this week (since there’s no Mizzou game at home) we still have several spots left in this weeks Felt Flower Gather Sign Workshops Thursday – Saturday.   This is the FINAL Session of workshops before we retire this project.
