Open House Recap...

Where to start?

Thank you so very, very much to all of you who came to our Open House.   I can’t tell you how much I enjoyed those three days.  (The prep leading up to those three days, however, is another story!)



I'm in complete humbled disbelief we sold out of all 405 available Tickets! 405 of you cared enough to grab a ticket, come say Hello, sip some wassail and wander about the shop, enjoying our Holiday Cheer.  I’m so thankful I got to be the official door greeter and loved seeing every single person who came in…and yes even have quite a few chats! 

(It for sure made every hour we spent prepping, including pulling an all-nighter on Wednesday worth it.  I didn't go home until 4:30 am Thursday to sleep for an hour, get my kids off to school and shower, before returning back to the shop at 7:30 am in time to greet our first group at 9am Thursday)

The ticketed format has been such a great upgrade for everyone. Our guests, my team and especially me. In years past it would be unlikely that I would see anywhere close to all the guests, much less have a conversation with anyone.  The shop would be so jammed packed it would be difficult to move, much less get to the goodies.

We also  have a very sizeable donation to send to Love Columbia as our way of Giving Back.  You can read more about Love Columbia HERE. 

My team put in extra hours, and went above and beyond helping turn every square inch of the shop into a Magical Holiday Experience. 

And now, we're ready! 

We look so forward to helping you cross items off your Holiday Shopping List!   We're so grateful when you choose to shop local with us.   It matters and makes a difference, not only to me and my family...but to all the local makers and small businesses we partner with. 



Coming up this Thursday & Saturday, we have a Felt Flower Workshop with Beth from Heartgrooves Handmade.  Beth has put together a set of 3 felt flower ornaments and THEY ARE SO CUTE!
Next week we'll officially launch our Holiday Ordering Page for Cupcakes, Charcuterie, Popcorn, Macarons and so much more!  In the meantime, if you weren't able to make the Open House, come see us this week.   

We're also taking orders for Thanksgiving Cupcakes if you need a dessert in addition to Pie!
