Labor

I posted a few pics last time of the outside of Plume as she was when I found her (previously Patty's Place). Words could never explain for you the amount of labor and love that have gone into her over the last 8 weeks. Here is a little timeline to refresh. June 28, discovered Patty's Place August 17th, started helping Patty clear out her contents from inside. (here's a little peak at the state on that day. now, to Patty's credit, I had ransacked the place quite a bit at this point. lots of things were moved and were not in the original place she had them. it didn't look quite this disorganized when I first went inside, but you get the idea.) . So, September 1st my lease began. It's been non-stop ever since. The brunt of the hard labor falls on my hubby Jeremy. I'll tell you some stories about him another day. He's been painting, ripping, scraping, clearing, wiring, lighting, you name it. There's no way I could do this without him. Some days he gets it. Some days he doesn't. But he always loves me. Thank you honey. I'm taking the camera to the shop today and will try to get some in-progress pics out to you before the big reveal. We've come a long, long way so far. A remodel is never as fast as I'd like. But I'm happy with where we're at. More to come!
