It's a "Go Tigers" Kind of Week...

We had so much going on last week with the start of school and we're super excited about the week ahead and the start of Mizzou's Football Season.   

But it will be hard for even a Tiger Win to top this...
 
   

Once a year our church offers baptism in our Lake.  My son (Luci's twin) was baptized at the end of 2019 but Luci wasn't ready yet and we didn't want to force it.  She went to Camp for the first time this summer and came home expressing interest in being baptized.    Friday night she was.   It was such a special moment and I'm so happy for her and proud.   I'm thankful to be part of a church that has so many great young adults that pour into her life and fill her heart with Jesus.  

Wasn't 100% sure I would make it as I had to have a minor surgical procedure earlier in the day Friday...but I managed to get it together and go.   I really, really didn't want to miss it.  

(I'll share more about the surgery another time.   Not a lot to tell right now, but I think I'm "OK".)

Now back to Football.  In light of the first home Mizzou game this weekend, we've put together a collection of Edible Goodies to enhance your tailgates...starting with CUPCAKES!
