In My Head...
It's January 10th, and there are 2 voices in my head in an all out battle with one another.
One voice says "Hello January, I love you."
December is over. 2021 is over. We made it. We grew, and we finished strong. I don't want to move forward, I want to just stay here for awhile. I don't have a plan. I don't know where I want to go this year. I'm comfortable here...in January.
Another voice says "Hurry Up, You're Falling Behind"
Just writing this, I know how absurd it sounds. It's literally January 10th. And behind on what?
It's a bit of a vicious cycle.
For most of the year Mondays are an "off day" for me. The 4th quarter is an exception and I miss my Mondays off so much. Today it was a treat to stay home, except for a quick grocery pick up, and I meal prepped in my kitchen most of the day. Mainly using my favorite cookbooks and 1 hour meal prep sessions off THIS BLOG. And every time that nagging feeling started to creep in and tell me I "should be working" I stuffed it right back down, knowing I was doing one of my most important jobs today. I feel so accomplished!
Last week we kicked off a new season of workshops with The Art of Charcuterie and a brand new Felt Flower Wreath project and we can't wait to gather around our table with you.
This week we've opened up Sugar Cookie Decorating!
