Today found me at the shop with my sidekick Jana taking down all our Christmas Trees.All.11.of.THEM. And that doesn’t even count the 4 or 5 that Jana brought in from her own stash to use for some of her ornaments she made for the season, which she had already taken down last week. Here’s a peek at the Gathering Room today. |
I have a love hate relationship with taking down Christmas. I hate actually doing it, but once it’s done I fall in love with all the open spaces and blank slates I get to work with. The shop is never as full as it is in November & December. And…if we’ve done our job…never as ripe for a “redo” as it is in January. I love it!
For the first time ever I’m accumulating a fairly good size “sale corner”. Moving lots of things into it daily. You’ll find A few remaining Christmas items,lot of T-shirts, jewelry and other odds, ends and goodies it’s time to try to move on out. Stop by this week and check it out!
