Unofficial Start to Summer...

So much going on this week to finish the school year strong. My youngest has her 5th Grade Graduation (when I opened Plume she was only 2!) and we're prepping for Memorial Day which seems to have become the "Unofficial Start of Summer".

Pools open...

Families head to the lake...

Nice 3-Day weekend...

But let's not forget the men & women who gave their lives serving our country. I don't personally know anyone who died in the line of duty and for that I feel grateful. However, I know many of you do and I thank your loved ones for their service.

Many people take time on Memorial Day to remember all of their lost loved ones, not just those who died during military service. My mom, dad & sister always take timeout to visit my grandparents' graves on Memorial Day; cleaning them off and adding fresh flowers for the new season.

How will you spend your time off this weekend?
