For the First Time Ever...

We took the opportunity to put our Christmas Lights up outside this past weekend, and I must say it is delightful to see the house lit up.  We've never had lights on our roof line before, but with the help of a neighbors extra tall ladder, Jeremy was able to swing it.   Still no trees up on the inside but that will come soon.

We also finalized our Thanksgiving plans.  In lieu of a full weekend trip staying with Jeremy's family all under one roof at his parents house, we've decided to take a day trip down to Ozark Thursday morning for an outdoor-firepit kind of gathering and come back home Thursday evening.  It's not the Thanksgiving we hoped for but we're thankful to spend time with family at all!
We're praying for good weather, throwing our campfire chairs in the car and we'll enjoy whatever food we can heat and eat outside.

I'll bring the cupcakes!

We might not be able to hug, we might have to keep our chairs 6 feet apart around the firepit but the most important part...we'll be together.

I even designed a new sweatshirt for the occasion!

Jeremy is printing these for me as we speak (this is just a mock-up, the ink is actually a really soft metallic gold not yellow beige like it looks in the pic) and they'll be ready for pick-up Wednesday!

OR

Grab one in the shop on Friday & Saturday.

Yes that's right...For the first time ever, we're Open on Black Friday!

You can grab "Air Hugs", along with the rest of our 2020 Holiday Collection on Friday & Saturday in the shop.   Stay tuned to our social media this week for the rest of collection reveal.

(Speaking of that, if you're not keeping up with us on Instagram, hop over and give us a Follow HERE.  You'll get a bit more behind the scenes and lots more pics of new goods our makers drop off that we just can't cover in simply one weekly email!)

While we don't have any doorbusters or specials for Black Friday, we promise to provide a fun start to your holiday shopping season with locally made and meaningful handmade gifts.   For the sake of safety, We decided that it might be best to allow the Small Biz Saturday traffic to spread out over 2 days instead of just one.   And for that same reason we've also made the decision to be open on Mondays in December.

Leave it to COVID to make you do things you never thought you'd do.

I'm actually excited about it!  Early on when I thought we'd be out of town, I made sure to have plenty of my team members on the schedule since I wouldn't be around, but now I'm looking forward to being in and out throughout the day on Friday and Saturday.
