Cascade Effect
Well, as with anything around here...rearranging the Baby Room in the shop last week led to a huge cascading effect and we've now flipped half the shop!
And I'm exhausted.
And I'm exhausted.
And as fate would have it...I'm on vacation with my sweet hubby ALONE this week!
We put our big middle school kids on the Church Camp Bus Sunday night, my parents came to town to hang out with Anni and Charlie and we hopped on a plane first thing Monday morning. I know the kids are going to have a great time, but I have to admit my heart skipped a beat when it was time to load them on the bus. First time camp mom here. And sweet Anni was a little down too. But I know Gee Gee & and Papaw will keep her plenty busy.
We're so thankful to have this time away. It's the first bit of alone time we've had since January 2020, right before Covid wreaked havoc.
I'll tell you a secret, I'm actually writing this at midnight Sunday night...instead of the normal midnight on Monday night...and I'm supposed to get up at 3:45AM to drive to the St. Louis airport... so I'm thinking I just might not sleep. You know how it goes when you're past the point of no return and figure you're better off just staying up. I'm there.
But I'm going to rest easy for the next week because the shop looks AMAZING! The girls are eager to help you with anything you need! Football and Fall are coming and we're ready!
