Encouraged…

In follow-up to my email last week about hiring for the bake shoppe and my anxiety over it, thank you for all of your support and encouraging words.  I’ve had some excellent applicants and get to start meeting with them this week.   I feel good about it!  CUPCAKES will CONTINUE YAY!

We also had another fantastic round of Felt Flower workshops and Beth and I were able to finalize more of our project plans for this fall.  GET READY!  These will knock your socks off!  We’re working on samples so we can show you soon but in the meantime, if you’ve been wanting to take one of our Felt Workshops, SAVE THESE DATES:  Sept 26-28, Oct 17-19, Nov 14-16 and Dec 5-7.

We’ll be taking the month of August off from hosting Felt Workshops, but do have Hand Lettering with Christy Asper coming up on Thursday Aug 22.   Sign ups for that will open up next week.We plan to offer additional Hand Lettering monthly through the end of the year, as well as adding some special weekday morning Bible Journaling Sessions.

We also want to remind you that if you would ever like to get a group of ladies together for a Private Felt Workshop, that is totally doable as well.  In fact, Beth is going to lead a group of friends through a workshop together soon.

Last week we also were able to host Aaron Fox for the first reading of his newly released Children’s Book, How Truman Found is Roar.  It was so fun.    One of our sweet mother/daughter guests had this to say…

We hope you’ll consider bringing your kids out for Aaron’s follow-up signing & reading on Thursday July 25th.  (More sign up details at the end of this email)  And we’ll leave you with a few more glimpses of his time with us this past week.  Cupcakes & Milk were had by all after the reading and they lived Happily Ever After!
