A brief Interruption..,

For the first time in a long time our family did not go to the Homecoming parade or the game.  After being out of town the prior weekend, I worked most of the week, including half the day on Saturday and was just pooped.  We had a busy Sunday also with Church events so we just decided to skip the festivities this year.  

I was a little bummed about it, but the fact that we were so busy and truly had an amazing homecoming week at the shop, did make up for it a bit.  It was so fun to help you get ready for all your homecoming events with new tees, hats...hostess gifts...cupcakes and so many other goodies.    I lived vicariously through you.

Friends, you know I think Fall is the greatest of all the seasons...and I strongly dislike any talk of Christmas before Halloween.  Please forgive me for the briefest of interruptions of your Pumpkin Spice Bliss, for a Special Holiday Announcement.

Here's what you need to know. 

Thursday November 4th - Saturday November 6th

Due to the popularity of our ticketed format in 2020 we're once again selling tickets to reserve your entry time.  This allows crowd-free, safe shopping...and even if COVID weren't a thing, we found it to be so much more enjoyable for our team and we heard you loved it too!  I actually got to talk to so many of you one-on-one last year and that had rarely happened at our prior Open Houses which were always jam packed wall to wall.   So we are keeping this format, and hope you'll come kick off your holidays with us. 

Tickets are $10 and include:
  • $10 coupon good towards any purchase during the Open House. (Your full ticket price refunded back to you!)  
  • Complimentary Goodie Bags will include a Plume Cupcake, GOPO Gourmet Popcorn + a few surprises! 
  • Sip on my momma's wassail while you shop. 
  • Entry into our grand prize giveaways!
  • 10% of Sales for the 3-Day event will be donated to Love Columbia.  
Our theme this year is "Making Spirits Bright" and my team and all our makers are working hard to do just that.  We are honored to help Make your holiday Spirits Bright.   I just can't believe the Open House is only 23 days away!  Tickets went on sale last week and we've already sold about 25% of them so don't delay.  We can't wait to see you!

This time of year comes with much excitement & anticipation but it does not come without hard work, long hours, and so.much.planning.  And even then, the best laid plans come with a whole lot of uncertainty.  We are, after all, STILL in the middle of a Pandemic.   And as the plans require, as much as I don't want to do it, we'll start putting up the Christmas Trees next week.   It's the only way we can possibly be ready for the Holidays in time.
