20 Years in the Making. . .
20 Years...
We celebrated 20 years of marriage last week over dinner at CC's! I'm not sure why but when we sat down, I just got so teary thinking about how fast it's gone by...and praying for 20 more years at least but for them to go much more SLOW. What can we all do to slow the passing of time?
This next pic was 5 years prior on our 15th Anniversary, having a breakfast date at Ernies...
I remember we did breakfast instead of dinner that year because our kids were all in school and we wouldn't need a sitter.
And now, 5 years later...they're old enough to stay home by themselves while we went out to dinner.
It was a special night...
Last week I also got to meet with Sarah Byland, the Special Olympics Athlete we raised funds for during the Open House and present her check. She made us the sweetest thank you card, and she's so excited to represent Missouri on the Golf Course in Orlando this June. Thank you again for your support.
UKRAINE FUNDRAISER UPDATE!!
Last Tuesday, in my email we launched our Sunflower sticker fundraiser in partnership with Katie from Doodle Station and I'm so thrilled to tell you we sold all 100 stickers by the end of the day. (We actually even had an internet glitch and somehow oversold them!) So I chatted with Katie and she helped me order 300 more stickers. Every 100 Stickers Sold will = another $500 donation towards Ukrainian Aid. It's a lofty goal, but we feel good about putting it out there for you.
This new batch of stickers are set to arrive today and we'll have them in the shop ASAP! Stickers are $5 each and 100% of the proceeds will go to Aid in Ukraine via Global Giving.
